- سُر سھڻي جَي مينھين، چاھڪ، کرڪن جو بيت
اللهَ سَڀَ جِيَنِ، مينھِيُون ھِنَ ميھارَ جُون،
ڪارِيُون، ڪُنڍِيُون، ڪَڪِيُون، وارا ڪِئو وِيَنِ،
جُوءِ جَا جادارَنِ جي، اُتِ ٻيلا ٻَھَ ٻَھَ ڪَنِ،
اَچِي ريلَ رَھَنِ، مُون سانڀارا سُپِرِين.

ﷲ سَڀِ جِيَنِ مٖيْھِيٌ هِنَ مِھَارَ جِيٌ﮶
ڪَارِيٌ ڪُڊِيٌ ڪَڪِيٌ وَارَا ڪِئُوْ وِيَنِ﮶
جُوْءِ جَا جَادَارِنِجِيْ اُتِ ٻٖيْـلَا ٻَهْٻَهْ ڪَنِ﮶
اَچِئُوْ رٖيْـلَ رَهَنِ مُنْ سَابَارَا سُپِرٍ﮶
ھِي بيت ٻين سھيڙيندڙن وٽ ڏِسو
TRANSLITERATION
सिन्धी देवनागिरी
अल्लाह सभि जियनि। मेंहियूं हिन मेहार जूं।
कारियूं। कुंढियूं। ककियूं। वारा किओ वियनि।
जूइ जा जादारनि जे। उति बे॒ला ब॒हि ब॒हि कनि।
अची रेल रहनि। मूं सांभारा सुपिरीं।

Allah'a sabh'a jiyan'ay, menhiyoo'n, hin'a mehaar'a joo'n,
Kaariyoo'n kundhhyoo'n, kakiyoo'n, waara ki'o wayan'ay,
Joo'ay jaa jaadaaran'ay jay, ut'ay Belaa Bah'a Bah'a kan'ay,
Achi rel'a rahan'ay, moo'n saanbhaara supireen.

O Allah! May all the buffaloes of this herdsman live long! May the black, brown and those with curved horns deliver young ones in succession, (so that Mehar's daily stock of milk may not be affected)! May the forests where they graze, always remain lush green and glisten! May my dear one come and occupy the green meadows in front of me!
Note: In the above verse the poet has not only blessed the followers of the Prophet, but also the places where they live. (That reflects the poet's universal view.) It is well known that the Prophet's followers are people of different nationalities and colours as borne out by lqbal as under:
رسول اللہؐ کی امت کی رنگارنگیاں دیکھو
کوئی البیض کوئی اصفر کوئی اسود کوئی احمر
(Iqbal)
Just see the multifarious followers of the Apostle of Allah bearing different colours. Some of them are white, some short statured; and some are black or red.
O Allah, may the buffaloes of Mehar live long,
May the black, brown and curved-home buffaloes beget one by one,
May the woods, where they graze, grow greener,
May my beloved come and live in the valley.
رکھے رب سلامت مہیاں ماہی پھردا چارے
کالی ککی لوہی بُھوری جاواں میں تھلہارے
تے مِلے گھاء چراندا اندر چردے ڈنگر سارے
میں منجدھارے رُڑہدی جاندی سار لووے گا ماہی
خوش رہیں اس کے سارے چوپائے
اور سرسبز ہوں چراگاہیں
کاش پھر سامنے ہو وہ منظر
بھرتی ہوں جس کی یاد میں آہیں
بھینسیں اِس میہار کی، سدا رہیں خوشحال،
اِن کی نسل ہو دُگنی تگنی، بھرا ہو سب چوپال،
جنگل گونجے ٹلیوں سے، جھن جھن کرتی چال،
رہے وہ ماہیوال، آن کے پاس پڑوس میں۔
ھِن سُر جي راڳ بابت
سھڻي: شاستري سنگيت ۾ ماروا ٺاٺ جي راڳڻي آھي. ھيءَ راڳڻي عام طور تي رات جي پيون پھرن ۾ ڳائي ويندي آھي. سرن جي لحاظ کان آڏو، شڌا آھي.

سُرن جي بيھڪ:
آروھا: سا گا ما ڌا ني سا
آوروھا: سا ني ڌا گا ما ڌا گا ما گا ري سا
ھن راڳڻيءَ جو وادي سر ”ڌا“ جڏھن تہ سموادي سر گا آھي. ھن راڳڻيءَ ۾ ري کان سواءِ سڀ سر تيور ۾ آھن.
