ABOUT CONTENT MANAGEMENT AND MACHINE TRANSLATION

We have developed the machine translation feature on the Bhittaipedia portal to support a wide range of languages. Currently, the system is programmed in 230 world-leading languages, and we have plans to expand this further in the near future.

While we acknowledge that translating poetry is a challenging task, even for humans, our machine translation system aims to convey the primary essence of Shah Abdul Latif's poetry in the reader's own mother tongue. Although the machine translation may not be as nuanced as a human translation, we have made significant efforts to ensure that the fundamental ideas of the poetry are accurately translated and disseminated globally.

Here is an overview of our Content Management Methodology for Machine Translation:

  1. We started with the translation work done by Agha Muhammad Yaqoob and used it as a basis to train our machine learning model. We have developed a fresh and complete translation using this content. You can find the raw translation available on our platform, along with the newly translated version by Amar Fayaz Buriro, a human translator. Click here
  2. To enhance the machine translation capabilities, we integrated the professional API of Google Translate. This allowed us to feed the machine with the human-made translations that had already undergone training.
  3. To validate and enhance the accuracy of the translations, we employed a reverse mode technique by cross-checking the results with Bing translation.
  4. Finally, the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is employed to validate machine translation and fill in the missing concepts of the verse.

This meticulous and technical process has resulted in an optimal translation that effectively captures the poetic essence of Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai's work in a prose style. We understand that this is an ongoing endeavor, and as Google and Bing Translate continue to evolve and improve, we anticipate even greater accuracy in the future. Our ultimate goal is to integrate the database of "Shah Jo Risalo" into the field of robotics engineering and Artificial Intelligence (AI) mechanisms, making it an integral part of these advancements.
