सिन्धी देवनागिरी
अजु॒ पण अखड़ियनि। पंहिंजा सज॒ण सारिआ।
ग॒लनि तां गो॒ड़हनि जूं। बूंदूं बस न कनि।
संदी सिक पिर्यनि। लोक डि॒ठे न लहे।

Longing for the beloved satiates not by seeing people.
آج پھر تیری یاد آئی ہے
آنسوئوں نے جھڑی لگائی ہے
آنکھیں اب دوسروں کو کیا دیکھیں
ان میں صورت تری سمائی ہے
تجھ کو پھر نینن نے، کیا ہے یاد، اے یار،
پل پل نین سے آنسو ٹپکیں، پل پل نیر کی دھار،
دیکھیں یہ سنسار، پر پیاس بجھے نہ نینن کی۔
