لاٿائِين لَطِيفُ چئَي، عالَمَ تان اَھُکَ،
تَنِ سَرَڻِنِ ٿِئا سُکَ، جي اَجهي آيُون اَبِڙي.

آَرُوْرِ جٖيْ اُٿِئُوْ دٖيْمَنِ پٖيْسِ دُکَہ﮶
لَاٿَاءٍ لَطِيْفُ چٖيْ عَالَمَتَا اَهُکَہ﮶
تَنِ سَرَرِنِ ٿِئَا سُکَہ جٖيْ اَجٖيْ آَئِيٌ اَبِرٖيْ﮶
ھِي بيت ٻين سھيڙيندڙن وٽ ڏِسو
TRANSLITERATION
सिन्धी देवनागिरी
आरोड़िजी उथिओ। दीमनि पेयसि दुख।
लाथाईं लतीफ़ु चए। आलम तां अहुख।
तनि सरणिनि थिआ सुख। जे अझे आयूं अबिड़े।
ROMAN SINDHI
Aarorrijee je uthiyo, demin peyas dukh'a,
Lathaeen latif'u chae, aalam ta ahukh'a,
Tan sarannan thiya sukh'a, je aJhe Aayoon abrre.
TRANSLATIONS
Resolutely he engaged the enemy (of infidels) and caused them consternation. Latif says: “he has relieved the mankind of numerous discomforts (i.e. he has introduced many reforms and removed distress.) All those persons who sought shelter of the Abro (i.e. the Prophet), benefitted and became happy”.
Stirred, he rose and put armies to grief,
He, says Lateef, relieved the world of hardship,
All the, refuge-seekers, who came to the Abro's abode became happy.
جو بھی اس کی پناہ میں آیا
نہ رہا اس کو خطرۂ اغیار
وہ غضب ناک ہو کے آیا ہے
بھاگ نکلا ہے لشکرِ جرّار
سر کی بازی لگائی ’ابڑو‘ نے
فوج سلطاں سے ہو گیا دو چار
اور پھر جس طرف نگاہ گئی
زیرِ لب تھا تبسم پندار
ہوا وہ نعرہ زن تو کانپا، لشکرِ اغیار،
لطیف کہے کہ ختم کیئے دکھ، اور عالم کا آزار،
جو آئیں پناہ میں یار، دیکھ تو کیسے سکھ سے ہیں۔
