- سُر ليلا جَي مڻيو چنيسر، ليلا سھاڳڻ جو بيت
اُو ڏَمَرِئو ڏِسُ، ھِيءُ حِيلو ھُوَنهِين ھارَ جو،
سُڻو سَڀَ سَرَتِيُون، اِيءُ وَرُ نَہ ڪَنهِين وَسِ،
دَعويٰ پِهرِئين دَسِ، ڀَڃِئو ٿو ڀورا ڪَري.

اُوْ ڎَمَرِئُوْ ڎِسُ هِيُ حِيْلُوْ هُنْهٍ هَارَ جُوْ﮶
سُنِهُوْ سَڀْ سَرَتِيٌ اِيُ وَرُ نَڪَهٍ وَسِ﮶
دَعْوٰى پِهْرِي﮼ دَسِ ڀَڃِئُوْ ٿُوْ ڀُوْرَا ڪَرٖيْ﮶
ھِي بيت ٻين سھيڙيندڙن وٽ ڏِسو
TRANSLITERATION
सिन्धी देवनागिरी
ऊ ड॒मरिओ डि॒सु। हीउ हीलो हुवंहीं हार जो।
सुणो सभि सरतियूं। ईउ वरु न कंहीं वसि।
दावा पिह्रिएं दसि। भञिओ थो भोरा करे।
ROMAN SINDHI
A'o Dam'ro diss, heiy Heelo hueein haar jo,
Sunno sabh sartiyon, aey warr'u naa kehen wass,
Daawa pehrein dass, puch'o tho'o bhoraa karey.

هو كان غضبانا عليّ من الأول و ليلى تواسى نفسها بهذا الكلام والعقد صار الحجبة عليّ علىٰ فاضي اسمعوا يا أيتها الزميلات لا يقدره أي واحد أن يحكم على الزوج أو يملك عليه هو يحطم لأول مرة حجة مثل هذه.
سر باطني: إن اﷲ على كل شيء قدير و لا يقدر يستفع عنده. أي واحدة إلا بإذنه وهو بصير بالعباد.
کنت مرا سی رُکھا رُکھا پہلوں توں بہی دِسدا
وس میرا نا چلیا اوس تے، ہار بہانا بسائی
حجت پیلا سندا ناہیں کردا ہے من منائی
موتی بنا بہانا تجھ سے، جام تو تھا ناراض،
میری بات سنو ری سکھیو! کرو تم عرض و نیاز،
جام کے یہ انداز، توڑے سب کا مان۔
