सिन्धी देवनागिरी
अलाबंदी आइयो। खणी छलि छुगे॒रु।
कंहीं कीन हिमथिओ। कान झलींदो केरु।
सूमरीनि सांगि खंई। किओ अबिड़े उठ पेरु।
हो महाई मेरु। मस्तूरातिनि मारिओ।

Alabande Aaiyo, khannee chhal chhuggeer'u,
Kanheen keen'a hamathiyo, kaan'a Jhaleendo ker'u,
Soomareen saang khanyi, kiyo abrre uthh'a per'u,

Allauddin came with army and the nobles wearing feathered-caps,
No one dared, who will face his arrows?
Having given refuge to Soomro ladies and did not hesitate,
He, a valiant lord, was killed for ladies.
سلطان علاء الدين وصل وهجم بالجيش لم يقدر يقاتل معه إلا البعض.
من هو يتحمل ضربات سهمه؟
الأمير أبرو دافع عن عفاف وكرامة سومريات وركب واعتلى على الجمل للقتال وتهيأ للنضال.
كان باسلا وبطلا ولاكن قتله وأهلكه دفاع كرامة وعفاف السومريات.
تابعِ شاہ ہو گئے فوراً
سارے قرب و جوار کے سردار
لیکن ابڑو کو کب گوارا تھا
وہ حریصانہ غلبۂ اغیار
آیا علاؤالدین تھا جب اور، آئے جب اغیار،
ابڑو بِن اور کون تھا ایسا، سر دیتا جو وار،
لیا پناہ میں سومیروں کو ذرا نہ جھجھکا یار،
سمہ تھا وہ سردار، مرا وہ مستورات کی خاطر۔
