सिन्धी देवनागिरी
अखियूं अलसबाह। दोसितु देखण आयूं।
उभियंदे अर्दास में। बी॒ न कंदियूं का।
रचंदियूं रिअ पाहि। परचंदियूं पिर्यनि सें॥

Early morning the eyes came to see (or they looked for) the Beloved. They could merely plead their case prayerfully and not express anything else. Without being administered any dye, they would automatically become red (due to tears,) and then they would be accepted by the Beloved, who would get reconciled to them.
لطف حق جوشد ز درد و زاریش
می شود از آہ و غم در باریش

The Divine mercy gets into commotion at the tears and entreaties of a supplicant. The latter is invited by Him due to his pathos.
At dawn the eyes came to see the Loved One,
Lost are they in worship, all else they shun,
Without any dye they will be dyed and in loved one lost.
Eyes came early in the morning to see the beloved,
Upstanding in prayer before the beloved they would do nothing,
They will be red without a red dye and will reconcile with the beloved.
جائت العيون صباحا لرؤية الحبيب.
هي تقوم مستقيمة أثناء العبادة ولا تعمل عملا آخر.
هي (العيون) تصبغ بدون صبغ وتشغل أنفسها فى المجالس مع الحبيب.
سحر گہ چشم عشاق است آمادہ بہ دیدارش
کہ دیدار دل را نعمت و راحت عطا سازد
بہ آداب و تواضع با وصال دوست در آیند
نصیبِ شان اگرا بی جا بود آندم بجا سازد
تیری آنکھوں نے میری آنکھوں کو
عشوۂ و ناز بھی سکھایا ہے
عشق نے روٹھنے کا یہ انداز
میرے پیارے تجھی سے پایا ہے
آنکھیں علی الصباح، دوست کو دیکھ آئیں،
کھڑی ہیں بندگی میں آنکھیں، اور نہ ان کی چاہ،
چڑھے گا رنگ اتھاہ، ساجن سے من جائیں گی۔
