सिन्धी देवनागिरी
आसण वटि आहूं करियां। वसि न मुंहिंजे वातु।
लगु॒मि लाहूतियनि जो। कीनर मन्झां कातु।
हलण खे हैहातु। आऊं न जीअंदी उनि रे।

Aasaan watt aahhon karyan, wass naa muhanjey waatt,
Laga'm lahootein jo, ke'nar muhanja kaat't,

I give vent to cries at their discarded seats. I simply cannot help it because I cannot control my mouth. I have received the stab from the “Lahut” ascetics through their music. It is a tragedy that I cannot follow them, though I am sure I cannot live without them.
Seeing their vacant yards, my cries I cannot control,
Yogis conshells music has stabbed me sore,
Alas! I can follow them not, without them I cannot live.
