دُوْسَ دُوْسَنِئُوْ دُوْرِ ڪَرٖيْ ٿُوْ ڎَيَا ڎٖيْکَارٖيْ﮶
هَنُ تُنْ تَندُّ طَرِيْقَ جِيْ وَاڃَٽَ سَڀِ وَارٖيْ﮶
سُوْرَٽِ سَرَتِنِ وِچَم﮼ اُڀَرِيْ اُوْسَارٖيْ﮶

TRANSLITERATION
सिन्धी देवनागिरी
अल्विदाउ है अल्विदाउ। जानिआ किअड़ुई जुदा।
ही जो आयो मङणे। मतारा मारे।
दोस दोसनिऊं दूरि करे। थो ड॒या डे॒खारे।
हणु तूं तंदु तरीक़ जी। वाज॒ट सभि वारे।
सोरठि सरतिनि विच में। उभड़ी ओसारे।

Hee jo Aayo mangnno, mataraa maare,
Dos'a dosanuoon door kare, tho Diya Dekhare,

"Farewell! Oh farewall! the beloved has departed." Alas! This was what Sorath bewailed. Since life is transitory we should better abandon all worldly affiliations and take to the self abnegations way of life. (We should strike the chord of self-renunciation).
Sorath stood in the midst of her companions and lamented (the loss of Rao Diach).
She repeated what Rao Diach had expressed: "I shall give away my head well decorated."
"This bard, who has come here, is out to kill great men.
He separates a friend from his friends and thereby displays his might.
But I cut off my head under influence of the (Divine) loves' directive."
Note: Here the bard possibly means the Angel of death.
Farewell, o farewell, the dear departed, Sourath is bewailing,
Forget all music and play the cord of Tareeqat,
Sourath is lamenting amidst her mates,
I will give you, says e Dyach my bedecked head,
The bard who has come is the killer of the powerful,
He separates friend from a friend and thus shows his might,
It is love that has cut my head.

تو ہی ساز حقیقت بجائے
جو محبت کے نغمے سنائے

کر گیا کیسا جادو وہ ’بیجل‘
جو سپوتوں کے بھی ہوش اُڑائے
کون تھا جو ترا سر کٹائے
کیسے تجھ کو یہ سورٹھ بھلائے
چھاتیاں کوٹتی ہیں اب اپنی
کون سکھیوں کو قابو میں لائے
پیار سے انکے جی کو لبھائے
کیسے تجھ کو یہ سورٹھ بھلائے
الوداع اے الوداع، جانی کیا جدا، سورٹھ یاد کرے،
گا اب راگ طریقت کا، بھول تو سر سارے،
سورٹھ سکھیاں سسک رہی ہیں، چلا وہ راجا رے،
اپنا سر میں سجا کے دوں گا، سر تو مہکارے،
من تو رشتے ناتے بھولا، لاگیں سر پیارے،
دیکھ یہ کیسا راگی ہے، جو بلوانوں کو مارے،
سر میں ملے صدا ساجن کی، جس نے مارا رے۔
