- سُر بلاول جَي وڳند جو بيت
وِڳَندُ وَرِي آئِيو، ڪِنُو ٿِي ڪوجهو،
ڇَڏي نَہ موزو، لَڳِيَسِ آرِ عَطارَ سين.

وَکَندُ وَرِيْ آَئِيُوْ ڪِنٌ ٿِيْ ڪُوْجُوْ﮶
ڇَڎٖيْ نَمُوْزُوْ لَکِيَسِ آَرِ عَطَّارَ س﮼﮶
ھِي بيت ٻين سھيڙيندڙن وٽ ڏِسو
TRANSLITERATION
सिन्धी देवनागिरी
विगं॒दु वरी आइयो। किनू थी कोझो।
छडे॒ न मोज़ो। लगि॒यसि आरि अतार सें।
ROMAN SINDHI
Wiggand'u waree Aaiyo, kinoo thee koJho,
ChhaDe na mozo, laggiyas Aar ataar'a seen.
TRANSLATIONS
Wagand has come back. He is definitely dirty and ugly. He does not forsake or part with the leather stocking (of the Prophet). Obviously he is in love with the perfume (i.e. the Prophet).
TRADITION: The Prophet used to wear stockings of black leather sometimes. (Mishqat).
بادہ عشق ازخم جانان است،
ھرکہ خود از خویشتن بیگانہ است

You get the wine of love from the goblet of the Beloved. He alone would take it who is oblivious of himself.
اے گل بتو خرسندم تو بوئی کسی داری
O rose! I am happy with you. You bear the fragrance of somebody
Wagand, filthy and ugly is here again,
He gives not up the leather sock, being in love with one who perfume sells.
Wagand has come again, as dirty and ugly as ever,
He is not letting go to the chamois sock as he is in
love with the perfume seller.
وكند رجع مرة ثانية قذر ووسخ ولايترك الخفاف.
لقد تعلق قلبه بالعطار.
پھر سے وگند ہے آیا، نری ہے اس کی صورت،
چھوڑے نہیں وہ موزے اسکی، عطر فروش سے نسبت۔
