وٖيْٽٖيْ جَنِ وَرْہَ ٿِئَا مَٿٖيْ مٖيْرٖيْ سَانُ﮶
ڪَارَنِئُوْ ڪَڪَّا ٿِئَا ڃٖيْرٖيْ وِجِيْ ڃَانُ﮶
خُدِيَ کَا خَلَاصُ ٿِئَا پُـٽِتٖيْ وِجِيْ پَانُ﮶
سٖيْ ٻَھْرِ نَہ هَنَنِ پَانُ جَنِ کَڎِئُوْ کُرِ کَرْوَانَم﮼﮶

TRANSLITERATION
सिन्धी देवनागिरी
वेठे जनि वरिह थिआ। मथे मेरे साणु।
कारंनिऊं कका थिआ। जे॒रे विझी जा॒णु।
ख़ुदीअ खां ख़लासु थिआ। पुठिते विझे पाणु।
से ब॒हरि न हणनि बा॒णु। जनि गडि॒ओ गुरु गिर्वान में।
ROMAN SINDHI
Wethhe jan warih'a thiya, mathe mere saann'u,
Kaariyoon kaka thiya, Jhhere wiJhee Jhhaann'u,
Khudee'a khan khalaaS'u thiya, puthh'te wiJhee paann'u,
Se Bahar na hannan Baann'u, jan gaDiyo gur'u girwaan'a me.
TRANSLATIONS
Years pass and they do not wash their dusty heads. Their hair have turned grey and they have burned their ego. They have neutralized their self-consciousness. In fact they have discarded their self completely. Since their leader has met them in their heart, why should they practicse arrow-shooting outside in space (i.e. seek Allah anywhere else?)
اُلجھی اُلجھی سی ہیں جٹائیں، بیت گئے ہیں سال،
گیان تو جھونکا آگ کے اندر، بھورے ہوگئے بال،
توڑ دیئے ہیں خودبینی و خودداری کے جال،
کیوں ڈھونڈیں وہ ننگ پال، جب دیکھا اپنی گُدڑی میں۔
