- سُر پورب جَي جوڳي جو بيت
وِچِينءَ ويراڳِيَنِ جِي، مَٿي ڪَڻِڄَ ڪُوڪَ،
ساڙي سِڪَ سَنها ڪِئا، مُحبَتِي مَلُوڪَ،
تَنِيءَ سَندِيءَ ھُوڪَ، جيڪَرَ جوڳِياڻِي ٿِيان.
سمجهاڻي
اهي ويراڳي ٽپهريءَ جي وقت ڪاٺين جي دونھين دکائي (باهڙي ٻاري) ويٺا (هڪ ٻئي کي) سڏ صلح ڪن ٿا. اهڙا سدا سهڻا ملوڪ جوان سڪ ۾ سڙي سنها ٿي پيا (تہ ڇا ٿي پيو!). انهن جي هاڪ ۽ ساراھ ٻڌي منھنجي دل چوي ٿي تہ آءٌ هنن سان گڏ جوڳياڻي بنجي هلندي وتان.
[رومي وري هينئن چوي ٿو:
هين غدائي دل بده از همدلي،
رو بجو اقبال از مقبلي.
(دفتر اول، ب-726)
معنيٰ: هائو، ڪنھن دل واري کان خوراڪ وٺي پنھنجي دل کي کاراءِ وڃ، ڪنھن نصيب واري کي تلاش ڪر تہ تنھنجو نصيب کلي!]

ھِي بيت ٻين سھيڙيندڙن وٽ ڏِسو
TRANSLITERATION
सिन्धी देवनागिरी
विचींअ वैरागि॒यनि जी। मथे कणिज॒ कूक।
साड़े सिक सनिहा किआ। मह्बती मलोक।
तनीअ संदीअ हूक। जेकर जोगि॒याणी थिआं।
ROMAN SINDHI
Wicheen'a weraggeen jee, mathe kanniJhh'a kook'a,
Saarre sik'a sanhaa kiya, muHabati malook'a,
Tanee'a sandee'a hook'a, jekar'a joggiyaanni thiyaan.
TRANSLATIONS
At the late afternoon prayer time one perceives some commotion among the ascetics gathered in a corner. (Otherwise there is complete silence at their place). The dear souls! The yearning for the Beloved has emaciated them.
Watch over prayers, and the middle (i.e. the late afternoon) prayers, and stand before Allah submissively . (238, Al-Baqarah).
The ascetics cry over the cauldron at sunset,
It is missing the beloved that has made these loving souls thin and lean.
سانجھ بھئی تو جوگی کی، سنائی دی ہے سسکی،
محبت کی آگ میں جل کر، ہوتے ہیں دبلے جوگی۔
