सिन्धी देवनागिरी
वरी पुछु वेठिनि खे। संदा पुन्हूंअ पार।
साज॒नु सभि ज॒मार। डु॒खी डो॒रिजि डी॒ल में।

Waree puchh'u wethhin'ay khhay, sandaa punhoon'a paar'a,
Saajjan'u sabh'a jamaar'a, ddukhhi ddoorij'ay ddeel'a mayn.
TRANSLATIONS
Go and consult those, who sit immobile, about the whereabouts of Punhoo. All your life, O miserable woman! look for the Beloved within yourself.
Enquire about the whereabouts of,
Punhoon from those who stay behind,
O miserable woman, look for the beloved always inside yourself.
پتا پنوں دا اوہ دسن جو بیٹھے لوء لائی
عمراں بدھی لبھناں ناھیں ایتھے درداں دوھی
اگر ہے اے سسٔی! درکار پنہوں
بنا اپنا کسی خلوت نشیں کو
و گر نہ عمر بھر ڈھونڈھا کرے گی
بیاباں در بیاباں اس حسیں کو
ان سے پوچھ جنہوں نے خود میں، دیکھے پی کے نشان،
تجھ میں یار نہاں، ڈھونڈلے خود میں یار کو۔
