پَرينديئي پَنڌِ ٿِئا، گَنجو ڇَڏي گامُ،
تَنِ ويھِي ڪِئو نَہ وِچَ ۾، آديسِيَنِ آرامُ،
گُرُوءَ سَندي گَسَ ۾، ڪِئائُون تَنَ تَمامُ،
راھَ ۾ گَڏِيُنِ رامُ، پَنڌان ڇُٽا ڪاپَڙِي.

The ascetics departed from their camp on the "Ganjo" mountain and continued on their journey** Despite physical exhaustion in their devotion to the Lord, they did not take any rest** Fortunately, they encountered "Rama" (Lord) halfway, which spared them the remaining part of the journey**

پَرْيْدِہٍ پَنڌِّ ٿِئَا کَنجُّوْ ڇَڎٖيْ کَامُ﮶
تَنِ وٖيْھِيْ ڪِئُوْ نَوِچَم﮼ آَدٖيْسِيَنِ آَرَامُ﮶
کُرُوْءَ سَندّٖيْ کَسَم﮼ ڪِئَاءٌ تَنُ تَمَامُ﮶
رَهَم﮼ کَڎِئُنِ رَامُ پَنڌَّا ڇُٽَا ڪَاپَرِيْ﮶

TRANSLITERATION
सिन्धी देवनागिरी

परींदेई पंधि थिआ। गंजो छडे॒ गामु।
तनि वेही किओ न विच में। आदेसियनि आरामु।
गुरूअ संदे गस में। किआऊं तन तमामु।
रह में गडि॒युनि रामु। पंधां छुटा कापड़ी।

ROMAN SINDHI

Parendeyi pandh thiya, ganjo chhaDe gaam'u,
Tan wehi kiyo na wich'a me, Aadesiyan Aaraam'u,
Guru'a sande gass'a me, kiyaoon tan tamaam'u,
Raah'a me gaDiyan raam'u, pandhan chhutta kaaprri.

  • The ascetics left their camp or the habitation on the Ganjo mountain and preceded further on their mission. They were exhausted physically in their Lord’s way, but they took no rest. (Lucky fellows!) They met Ram half way and were therefore spared the rest of the journey.
    TRADITION: Death is a bridge which helps in the union of two friends.

    Leaving the village of Ganjo hill, they go ahead,
    In spiritual path, they have starved themselves,
    Though exhausted, never rested they on the way,
    They were spared rest of the journey, half way they found God.


    هم انطلقوا وقاموا للسفر وتركوا طريق قرية هضاب كنجو.
    أفنوا أنفسهم فى سبيل الذي أرشدهم المرشد لم يرتاحوا فى الطريق والتقوا الإلهٰ فى الطريق وتخلصوا من المشي.


    گائوں گنجے پہاڑ کا تج کر
    پھر روانہ ہوئے کہیں جوگی
    جان دی اس گرو کے چرنوں میں
    ہو گئے جس کے ہم نشیں جوگی
    مل گئے رام آگیا آرام
    اتنے مایوس بھی نہیں جوگی

    چلے ہیں دور سفر پہ، چھوڑ کے گنجو گام،
    اپنے گُر کی راہ میں، فنا ہے جسم تمام،
    کیا نہ انہوں نے راہ میں، بیٹھ کے ذرا آرام،
    ملا ہے راہ میں رام، ختم ہوا کشٹ سفر کا۔
