وٖيْرَاکِيْ وَاکِيْ ڎِيْنِ ڎِيْهَانِيْ ڎِيْلَکٖيْ﮶

सिन्धी देवनागिरी

वैरागी॒ वागी॒। डी॒नि डि॒हाड़े डी॒ल खे।
रावल रते मोल्हियें। सामी सुहागे॒।
लंउ जंहीं लागी॒। सो जोगी॒ पसां त जियां।

Weraaggi waaggi, Diyan Dihaarri Del'a khe,
Rawal'a ratyan moliheen, saami suhaaggi,
Lan'un janheen laaggi, so joggee pasaan ta jiyaan.

  • These ascetics fasten ropes round their body daily (to hold it in check, like a bridle against worldly attractions). These holy men are united with the Friend who has decorated them with red turbans (adorned them with gold and rubies). I would live only if I meet these nomads whom I dearly love.
    They would be adorned with bracelets of gold and pearls and they shall have garments of silk . (33, Al-Fatir).


    جسم کو رسیوں سے باندھے ہیں
    اور ان کے سروں پہ صافے ہیں
    ہائے یہ رازدارِ غم جوگی
    ان کے انداز کتنے اچھے ہیں

    جوگی اپنے جسم کو، ڈالیں روز لغام،
    سر پر پاگ سہاگ کی، پہنے ہیں وہ مدام،
    جنہوں نے لیا دل تھام، وہ سوامی نظر نہیں آئے۔
