सिन्धी देवनागिरी

अदियूं का ईंदे। छपरु मूं सङु थिओ।
लाईंदियसि लिङनि खे। मलीरां मेन्दी।
विंदुरि आऊं वेंदी। आरी जा॒मु अझो करे।

ROMAN SINDHI

Adiyoo'n ka eendi, chhapar'u moo'n sang'u thi'o,
Laa'eendiyas'ay langan'ay khhay, Maleeraa'n mendi,
Windur'a aaun weendi, aari jjaam'u ajho karay.

    Note The title of ڄام which was assumed by the Samo Kings of Lasbela may appear as a misfit for Punhoo who was a Baluch and of Makran. But the poet has used the word in its general sense of respectability to imply the Prophet.


    وچ پہاڑاں ملیگا اڑیو پنوں میرا رانا
    انگ ملیری مہندی لاواں دیس سجن دے جانا
    آری جام رکھے پت آیے جد میں وندر جاواں


    دشت سے میرا ناتہ ہے اب، کون چلے گی سنگ،
    دیس ملیر کی مہندی سے میں، رنگوں گی اپنی انگ،
    یہ ہی پریت کے ڈھنگ، کہ ڈھونڈیں جام پنہل کی چھاؤں۔
