If I were to compare the weight of a hundred heads against a single chord of your violin, the scale upon which the latter rests, when play by skilled hand of "Beejal" (musician), would outweigh them all** Indeed, my own head is but a hollow vessel, devoid of significance, and not worthy of presentation**

  • If I were to weigh one hundred heads against one chord of your violin, the scale containing the latter when struck by Bijal would be weightier. In fact my head is a hollow skull and it is not worth presentation.

'If hundred heads are placed in one scale, in another your chords,
Lower will be the scale containing them all,
Save for bones what is the worth of my head?

If I put hundred heads in one scale and a string of your fiddle in another,
The scale of Beejal's tuneful strings would overweigh head is a hollow skull,
    there is nothing in it.
