TRANSLITERATION
सिन्धी देवनागिरी

सतेअं डीं॒हिं सयदु चए। धागा॒ दोआऊं।
उभी अलख सामुहियूं। बां॒हूं ब॒धाऊं।
रूहु पंहिंजो राम सें। परि में पूताऊं।
वडी॒अ कंहिं विलात जा। उह्ञ आंदाऊं।
खणिओ खिधाऊं। लिका भूणनि लोक में।

Saten Deenhn sayi'du chae, dhaagga dhouaoon,
Ubhee alakh'a saamhiyoon, Baanhoon Badhaoon,
RooH'u panhinjo raam'a seen, par me pootaoon,
WaDee'a kenhn wilaat'a ja, uhnj'a Aandaoon,
Khanniyo khidhaoon, lika bhunnan lok'a me.

  • On the seventh day they washed their clothes. While standing they expressed their humility before Allah, the Imperceptible, with folded hands. Apparently they got news of some great land, of which they seemed to have some vision. They often held intimate secret communion with Ram (or god.) They move about quietly in public along with their bowls.

    On the seventh day, they washed their thread-bare clothes,
    With folded hands before God they bowed,
    Vision of some great far- off land they seemed to have,
    Their souls commune with the Lord, in secret,
    Carrying their rags, hiding from men they move about.


    فى اليوم السابع السيد الشاعر يقول.
    غسلوا ثيابهم الصفراء.
    قاموا وتضرعوا عند اﷲ عز وجل بالخشية هم جاؤوا بأخبار عن بلاد بعيدة .
    خيطوا أرواحهم بمحبة ربهم!
    شالوا أسمالهم ويختفون من الناس فى هذا الكون.


    ساتواں دن آیا تو سب نے، دھوئیں اپنی جٹائیں،
    پھر تو سارے الکھ کے آگے، جوڑ کے ہاتھ وہ آئیں،
    کہے لطیف کہ یہ بیراگی، دور کی کوڑی لائیں،
    چھپ کر سارے جگ سے سوامی، روح میں رام سجائیں،
    گدڑی اوڑھ کے آئیں، کریں نہ خود کو ظاہر۔
