TRANSLITERATION
सिन्धी देवनागिरी
हलंदे हाड़हो मणी। करणु कोह पिआमि।
अर्डा॒ आरीअ जा॒म रे गूंदर गुज़रिआमि।
लकियूं लक लतीफ़ु चए। औरांघणु आयामि।
पुरणु पुन्हूंअ पुठि में। ईअ सआदत सन्दियामि।
मथिसि कम विधामि। विहां तां न वसि पिओ।
ROMAN SINDHI
Halandi haarrho manni, karann'u koh'a piyaam'ay,
Arddaa aari'a jjaam'a ree goondar'a guzari'aam'ay,
Lakiyoo'n lak'a Lateef'u chae, apraanghhann'u aayaam'ay,
Purnn'u Punhoon'a puthh'ay mayn, ee'a Sa'aadat'ay sandiyaam'ay,
Mathis'ay kam'a widhaam'ay, wihaa'n taa'n na was'ay pi'o.
TRANSLATIONS
While proceeding to the Harho mountains I have to cover good many miles. On one hand, I have to suffer deep anguish due to the absence of Lord Punhoo. On the other hand, I have to pass through narrow mountain-passes, as stated by Latif. However, I consider it auspicious to follow the tracks of Punhoo. Since I have committed all my plans and programmes to Allah, I have obviously no option to stay indoors.
And in Allah let the believers put their trust. (122, Al-Imran).
"Going to Harho mountain I have to cover miles and miles,
Without Ari Jam I have gone through suffering of many kinds,
Many slopes and ascents I have crossed,
To follow Punhoon I consider a blessing and not loss,
I cannot rest, for His sake I have given up all other tasks.
Going toward Haarho, I had to cover many miles,
Without Aari lord I suffered deep anguish,
I had to pass, says Lateef, through passes and defiles,
It is a great blessing for me that I want after Punhoon,
I have left every thing to him, it is not possible for me sit about.
لقد قطعت مسافة طويلة وأنا أمشي نحو جبل “هارو” بدون حبيبي الرئيس بنهون أعيش حياة كئيبة وحزينة وأنا دائما فى القلق والضجر. لقد قطعت الأوعار والممرات.
هذه سعادتي أمشي خلف بنهون لقد توكلت عليه وفوضتأموري إليه لا أستطيع أنا أجلس.
اوکھی گھاٹی مشکل پینڈے مرے نصیبیں آئے
پنوں باہجوں درد غماں نے، گھیرے مینوں ہائے
ڈونگھی واٹ پہاڑاں دی نا، میتھوں لنگھی جائے
پیڑ سجن دی ملدی بھاگیں، سسی شگن منائے
لگی ازلوں ٹٹُڈدی ناہیں، وس نا لگدا کائی
لاکھ رنج و غمِ فراق سہے
حوصلے پھر بھی تازہ دم ہی رہے
رہِ الفت کی مشکلات نہ پوچھ
کوئی یہ مشکلات کس سے کہے
پیرو نقشِ پاے یار ہوں میں
محرم جبرو و اختیار ہوں میں
ہاڑے اور چلی جب میں تو، کوسوں تھے کوہسار،
کیا کیا راہ میں دکھڑے جھیلے، سنگ نہ تھا کوہیار،
پربت روند کے میں نے ڈھونڈی، ہر اک راہ گذار،
یہ بھی اپنی قسمت ہے کہ،تیری راہ لی یار،
تیری ہے آدھار، مجھ سے یہاں رہا نہ جائے۔
