- سُر ڪاموڏ جَي سمي سامهون گندري جو بيت

کاڄُ جَنِي جو کِکِيُون، مالُ جَنِي جا مَڏَ،
سَمي سيئِي سيڻَ ڪِئا، ھِيڻا جَنِ جا ھَڏَ،
ڄامَ پَرَتِيَئِي لَڏَ، سانگِيَنِ جِي سَيِّدُ چئَي.

Those souls whose sustenance is embraced by pungent fish, whose wealth is measured in piles of scales, and whose strength may waver, have been bound as kin by the generous "Samo"** The Sayed says: "Oh, divine Lord! सिन्धी देवनागिरी

खाजु॒ जनी जो खिखियूं। मालु जनी जा मड॒।
समे सेई सैण किआ। हीणा जनि जा हड॒।
जा॒म परतियई लड॒। सांगियनि जी सयिदु चए॥

KhaaJhh'u janee jo khikhiyoon, maal'u janee ja maD'a,
Same seyi senn'a kiya, heenna jan ja haD'a,
Jhhaam parateyi laD'a, sangiyan jee sayid'u chae.

    مچھلی سب کی پونجی ہے اور، مچھلی ہی خوراک،
    "جام" نے اِن سے رشتہ جوڑا، جو ہیں سینہ چاک،
    جو ہیں گویا خاک، تو ہی نگہبان ان کا ہے۔
