सिन्धी देवनागिरी
सूंहप में सप घणा। मुन्झणु माखी होए।
परो तंहीं पोए। जो उझी पए उन तां।
ROMAN SINDHI
Soonhap me sapp'a ghanna, munJhann'u makhee hoe,
Paro tanheen poe, jo uJhee paye un'a tan.
TRANSLATIONS
The direct and usual route has lots of snakes (pitfalls) in it. (It is definitely not pleasant on that account.) On the other hand, the indirect and unusual road is sweet and pleasant (or) getting confused in it and leaving it off is pleasant. But that experience shall be known to those who cross it and reach the goal.
Many snakes' in knowledge lie, some honey sweet folly find,
Reality is found by one, who leaves both behind.
Many are snakes in knowingness, unknowingness is honey,
Only they get to know who go across both.
