مُھڙُ مِڙَنِي مُرسَلين، سَرسُ سَندُسِ شانُ،
خَبَرَ ڪاڻِ خَلِيلَ جي، قادِرَ مُڪو قُرآنُ،
فَڪَانَ قَابَ قَوْسَيْنِ أَوْ أَدْنَىٰ ، اِيءُ مُيسِرُ ٿِئُسِ مَڪانُ،
اِيءُ آگي جو اِحسانُ، جَنھِن ھادِي ميڙِئم ھِھَڙو.

جَکَرٖيْ جِھُوْ جُوَانُ ڎِسَان ڪُوْنَ ڎِسِنِم﮼﮶
مُهْرُ مِرَنٍ مُرْسَل﮼ سَرَسُ سَدُسِ شَانِ﮶
خَبَرَ ڪَانِ خَلِيْلَ جٖيْ قَادِرَ مُڪُوْ قُرْآَنُ﮶
فَکَانَ قَابَ قَوْسَيْنِ اَوْ اَدْنى اِيُ مُيَسَّرُ ٿِئُسِ مَڪَانُ﮶
اِيُ اٰکٖيْجُوْ اِحْسَانُ جِهْ هَادِيْ مٖيْرِئُمِ هِهَرُوْ﮶

ھِي بيت ٻين سھيڙيندڙن وٽ ڏِسو

TRANSLITERATION

सिन्धी देवनागिरी

जखरे जिहो जुवान। डि॒सां कोन डि॒सिनि में।
मुह्ड़ु मिड़नी मुर्सलें। सर्सु संदुसि शानु।
ख़बर काणि ख़लील जे। क़ादिर मुको क़ुर्आनु।
फ़कान क़ाब क़ौसेनि ओ अदना। ईउ मुयसरु थिउसि मकानु।
ईउ आगे जो इह्सानु। जिंहिं हादी मेड़िअम हिहड़ो।

ROMAN SINDHI

Jakhire jeho juwaan'u, Disaan ko na Disan me,
Muharr'u mirranee mursaleen, sars'u sandus shaan'u,
Khabar'a kaann Khaleel'a je, Qadir'a muko QURAAN'u,
Fakan'a Qab'a Qosen ao Adna, aee'u muyisar'u thiyus makaan'u,
Ee'u Aage jo aHsaan'u, jenhn haadee merriyam hehrro.

(The Jakhro is peerless). I do not see any person like him in the universe. He is the leader of all apostles and consequently his status is higher than theirs. In fact he became “as it were, one chord to two bows or closer still to Allah.” That was the highest station in nearness to Allah which he obtained. Verily it was a favour of Allah that I had the good fortune to have got a guide of his type.
So that he became, as it were, one chord to two bows, or closer still
