سمجهاڻي
اي سسئي، تنھنجو وڏو بخت آهي جو پنهونءَ جي پٺيان وڃي رهين آهين. اي سسئي، تون انهيءَ مضبوط سھاري (ٿنڀ) کي پڪڙي روئي روئي وري روءِ. هتي ويھڻ سان ڪجهہ نہ ٿيندءِ، جيڪڏهن تون هلندينءَ تہ تون ضرور پرينءَ وٽ پھچندين.

وَڎُوْ طَالِعُ تُوْ جِنْ لَـکِيَ پٖيْرَ پُنُوْھَجٖيْ﮶
سَسُئِيْ اِنَ سُتُوْنَـکٖيْ رُوْيُوْ رُوْيُوْ رُوْ﮶
وٖيْھِٽِيْ ھِتِ مَهُوْ ھَل﮼ تَہ تَهُوْتُ لَه﮼﮶
ھِي بيت ٻين سھيڙيندڙن وٽ ڏِسو
TRANSLITERATION
सिन्धी देवनागिरी
वडो॒ तालिउ तो। जीअं लगीं॒अ पेरि पुन्हूंअ जे।
ससुई इन सुतून खे। रोयो रोयो रो।
वेठी हिति म हो। हलें त होतु लहें।
ROMAN SINDHI
Waddo taali'u to, laggeen'a peer'ay punhoon'a jay,
Sassui in'a sutoo'n khhay, royo royo ro,
Wethhi hit'ay ma ho, halee'n ta hot'a lahee'n.
TRANSLATIONS
You are surely fortunate if you have located the footprints of Punhoo (i.e. you have received his guidance.) O Sasui! stick fast to this pillar of a print (on the analogy of the palm trunk in the mosque against which the Prophet used to lean when delivering a speech), and weep torrentially (like it) in his memory. But surely you cannot sit idle here! You must strive to meet him. (Effort is necessary according to a tradition.)
Note: 'Pillar' may also mean a relic here.
Those of the believers who sit still, except the disabled ones, and those who strive in the cause of Allah with their wealth and their person are not equal. . . And Allah has exalted those who strive above those who sit still, by a great reward. (95, AI-Nisa).
You are indeed fortunate for you follow footprint of Punhoon,
Hold fast to that pillar Sassui, and weep again and again,
Do not stay behind, move, so that you may find Hoat.
لبھ پئی پیڑ پنوں دی تینوں تیرے بھاگ بھلیرے
پیڑ دیکھ کے اٹک نا جاویں، ٹری جائیں اگیرے
بہہ نا ایتھے ٹر پو اگے پنوں ملسی تینوں
اب سر راہ بیٹھنا نہ کہیں
دیکھتا ہے وہ رہنما تجھ کو
دیدۂ تر سے خیر مقدم کر
گر ملے اس کا نقشِ پا تجھ کو
تیری خوش قسمتی کہ پنہوں نے
کردیا منزل آشنا تجھ کو
سپھل ہے تیرا جیون تونے، لی ہے یار کی راہ،
اسی کی رکھ آدھار اے سسئی! ہر پل نیر بہا،
اس کو ڈھونڈنے جا، تو پائے ہوت پنہل کو!
