پَسِيْ ڎُنْکَرَ ڎَاہَ جِمَ هَلَنَم﮼ هِيْنِيْ وَہ﮼﮶
لَاچٖيْ لَڪُّ لَطِيْفُ چٖيْ پُٽِيَ ڪٖيْچِيَنِ ڪَاہِ﮶
پُڇِيْ پُوْرِجِ سَسُئِےْ بَلُوْچَانِيْ بَاہِ﮶
اِنَ وَرَائِتٖيْ وَرَجِيْ آَسَرَ هَڎِ مَلَاہِ﮶
جُوْ اَکِيَنُوْ اُوْڎُوْ آَہِ سُوْ پِرٍ پَرَاہٌ مَچَهُوْ﮶

TRANSLITERATION
सिन्धी देवनागिरी
पसी डूं॒गिर डा॒ह। जिम हलण में हीणी वहें।
लान्चे लकु लतीफ़ु चए। पुठीअ कैचियनि काहि।
पुछी पूरिजि ससुई। बलोचाणी बाहि।
इन वड़ाइते वर जी। आसर हडि॒ म लाहि।
जो अखियनूं ओडो॒ आहि। सो पिरीं पराहूं म चऊ।
ROMAN SINDHI
Pasee ddoongar'a ddaah'a, jim'a halann'a mayn heenni waheen,
Laanchee lak'u Lateef'u chae, puthee'a kechiyan'ay kaah'ay,
Puchhee poorij'ay Sassui, balochaanni baah'ay,
In'a warraetee war'a jee, aasar'a hadd'ay ma laah'ay,
Jao akhhinoon oddo aah'ay, so pireen paraahoon ma cha'u.
TRANSLATIONS
O you slave! See that you do not slacken in your quest of Punhoo at the sight of mountains. Latif says: 'You must pursue his party, through the mountain passes. O Sasui! O damsel! you should enquire about the cinders, possibly left behind by the Baluch Party, and then proceed apace. Do not despair to meet the Gracious Lord. How can He be said to be distant, when He is near our eyes'?
نیستی آگاہ از لطف خدا
ہمچو عاشق ہر زماں بیند ترا

You are not aware of Allah's grace. Like a lover He sees you all the time.
And when My servants ask you about Me, say: I am near. I respond to the prayer of a supplicant when he supplicates to Me. (186, Al-Baqarah).

Oh slave! slaken not your speed seeing hug rocks,
Cross them, Latif says, follow dwellers Kech to their resort,
Sasui! be aware of Baloch's love's longing forward march,
Give up not hope of meeting that gracious Lord,
He who is nearer than your eyes, say not He is far.
Seeing the mountains, o slave grief, do not slow down your pace,
Search passes, says Lateef, and go after the Kechis,
Look out for the traces of the traces of the Baluchis's campfires and follow that trait,
Despair not of meeting your gracious husband,
Don't say the beloved is far when he is before your very eyes.
يا جارية! لو أبصرت الجبال لا تعودي ولا ترجعي.
مري من الممر وامشي وراء أهالي كيج.
يا سسئ اعرفى لهيب وغليل عشق بنهون وتقدمي لا تيأسي ولاتقنطي من الزوج الكريم ذي المجد والشرف.
الحبيب الذي أقرب للعيون لاتقولي له هو بعيد.
پربت ویکھ نا ڈولیں سسی، مٹھی چال کریں نا
بنھی لک نا ہمت ہاریں مشکل ویکھ ڈریں نا
پھڑیں نشان بلوچاں جتھے راتیں دھونی تاپی
ٹردی جا توں عشق سہارے دوجی ہور کریں نا
اکھاں دے وچ وسدا پنوں باہر کہنوں لبھیں
اے سسئی! کیچ دور ہے لیکن
بدگماں ہو نہ رہ گزاروں سے
دور پگڈنڈیوں پہ چلتی جا
تجھ کو ملنا ہے شہ سواروں سے
آرزو کو چراغِ راہ سمجھ
کیوں ہراساں ہے کوہساروں سے
اس قدر بھی تو وہ بعید نہیں
دیدۂ شوق نا امید نہیں
دیکھ کے راہ کے ویراں پربت، تو ہمت مت ہار،
جس جس راہ سے گذرے ہیں وہ، ڈھونڈ وہ راہگذار،
منزل منزل آگ جلاتے، گئے ہیں وہ اسوار،
بڑا ہی ہے گنوان کوہیارل، اسی کی رکھ آدھار،
دور نہیں ہے یار، بسا ہے وہ تیرے نینن میں۔
