चन्ड विहाणीअ चड़िहिआ। मल मदीना मीर।
तनि सें तबल बाज़ तबरूं। कुन्द कटारा कीर।
अलीअ पुट अमीर। कंदा राड़ो रुक जो।

tan'ay see'n tabal'a baaz'a tabaroo'n, kand'a kattaaraa keer'a,

  • The stalwart chieftains left Madina, mounted on their steeds, at moon-set time. They were equipped with drums, falcons, battle axes, spears, daggers and javelins. The progeny of Hazrat Ali would use the above steel- wear in their fight (with the enemy).

    Moon sets, Media's warriors prepare for war,
    With them are drums axes, spears, swords falcons,
    Ali's sons will fight with hard steel weapons.


    لتھا چن سورمے جاگے، چڑھ پئے ویر کرارے
    باز نگارے برچھے بھالے لِتے تیز کٹارے
    چڑھے جنگ نوں پُت علی دے رُک(*) دا اسلحہ لے کے
    (*) رُک اِ شہر دا ناں اے جتھے ہتھیار بنائے جاندے سن


    ڈوبا چاند تو یثرب سے، چلے وہ جنگ جوان،
    باجے طبل اور نیزے چمکے، چمکے تیر کمان،
    علی کے پوت مہان، کریں گے قہری جنگ۔
