سِڃُ اُلَھِيْ سَانجِيْ ٿِيْ مُهَ اُنڌَاهِيَ مٖيْرَ﮶
هَنَنِ هَاتِڪَنِکٖيْ پَانَوَ ڀَرٖيْ پٖيْرَ﮶
مَارٖيْ مِصْرِيُنِس﮼ ڊُنْڊَ ڪِئَاءٌ ڊٖيْرَ﮶
دَهْلِئَا اُتِ دِلٖيْرَ پَسِيْ حَمْلُوْ مِيْرَ حُسَيْنَ جُوْ﮶

TRANSLITERATION
सिन्धी देवनागिरी

कामिल कर्बला में। आया सयद शैर।
सिजु उलही सांझी थी। मुंहं ऊंदाहीअ मेर।
हणनि हातिकनि खे। पानव भरे पेर।
मारे मिस्रियुनि सें। ढुन्ढ किआऊं ढेर।
दह्लिआ उति दिलेर। पसी हम्लो मीर हुसैन जो।

ROMAN SINDHI

Kaamil'a Karbalaa mayn, aayaa Sayyad'a sher'a,
sij'u ulahi saanjhi thi, munh'a oondaahi'a mer'a,
hannan'ay haannikan'ay khhay, paanow' bharay per'a,
maaray Misriyun'ay see'n dhdundhh'a ki'aa'oo'n der'a,
dahli'aa ut'ay dileer'a, pasi Hamlo mer'a Huseen'a jo.

  • The ideal gentlemen, the lion hearted Sayads, advanced against the enemy at Karbala. They bravely used their Egyptian swords and quickly made a mound of the corpses of their opponents. Even the brave among the latter became panicky at the forceful assault of lmam Hussain (and his confederates).

    Sayyad lions, the perfect ones, came to Karbala,
    Slaughtering with Egyptian swords they piled up corpses,
    Seeing the lord Hussian's onslaughts even the fearless trembled.


    سید شیر علی دے بیٹے وچ کربل دے آئے
    نال مصریاں لاشاں دے اوس وڈھ وڈھ ڈھیر لگائے
    بڑے بڑے دلیر وی سہمے ھلا تک حُسین دا


    کامل کرب و بلا میں آئے، سید زادے شیر،
    مصری تیغ سے سروں کے سب نے، لگادیئے پھر ڈھیر،
    کانپ اُٹھے تھے دلیر، دیکھ کے میر حسین کا حملہ۔
