TRANSLITERATION
सिन्धी देवनागिरी
विगं॒दु वरी आइयो। पेनारनूं पोए।
मह्कुमु लग॒सि मोचिड़ा। ज़रो न डि॒नुसि जोए।
उभो ईअं चोए। त पीरां पासे न थिआं।
ROMAN SINDHI
Wiggand'u waree Aaiyo, penaaranoon poe,
MaHkum'u laggas mochirra, Zaro na Dinus joe,
Ubho eean choe, ta peeran paase na thiyan.
TRANSLATIONS
Wagand has come back after roaming hither and thither like a mendicant. He was badly treated wherever he went. (None took interest in him). Even his ‘wife’ threw him over board. Then he started saying: “I do not wish to be far from my Pir”.
نیم عمر در پریشانی رود،
نیم دیگر در پشیمانی شود۔
Half the life is wasted in waywardness. The other half is spent in regrets.
Wagand the vagabond, rebuffed by others, is back soon,
His wife threw him out and gave him no food,
Now he keeps on saying "from Pir's side I will not budge an inch".
Wagand came after beggars had left,
He was beaten good, his wife gave him nothing,
Now he keeps saying, I would not be away from the pair,"
وكند جاء مرة ثانية من وراء الصعاليك.
وضرب بكنادر شديدة وزوجتها لم تعطه شيئا.
ويقول هكذا: “لا أترك المرشدين بتاتا”.
پھر سے وگند ہے آیا، سب منگتوں کے بعد،
شاید اس کی جورو نے، کیا اسے برباد،
کرتا ہے فریاد، کہ رہوں گا میں پیر کے قدموں میں۔
