حَرا ڪَرِ حَرامُ، کاءُ تَہ کاھوڙِي ٿِيين.

سمجهاڻي

توکي گنجي ٽڪر ۾ اندر وڃي رُلڻ سان ڪھڙو مقصد حاصل ٿيندو؟ (غور ڪر) آخر ڪھڙو سبب آهي، جو اُن کي ڏسڻ سان آرام ۽ سڪون موڪلائي وڃن ٿا. خيال ڪر! متان تون عام ماڻهن وانگر اجايو سجايو پيو هلندو وتين. اي کاهوڙي! پھرين پنھنجي وجود جي نَفي ڪر (نيستيءَ ۾ قدم رک) ۽پاڻ کي پُورو پچاءِ (هٺ ۽ هوڏ ڪڍي ڇڏ)، تڏهن تون سالڪن جي صف ۾ شامل ٿي سگهندين.

What draws you towards the sanctums on the rugged "Ganjo" mountain? Indeed, it is widely acknowledged that even a glimpse of the sanctum on the Ganjo mountain disturbs the seeker's tranquility** The yearning to visit becomes an overwhelming force and fueling impatience within** Therefore, I offer you this counsel: abstain from embarking on a journey to explore the ordinary mountainous terrain** Instead, combined with deep "self-denial", to transform into a worthy seeker** Let the intensity of your longing and the discipline of self-restraint become the crucible through which you forge your path**

ڪِهَرُوْ اَٿِىءِ ڪَامُ کَنجّٖيْ ڎُنْکَرَ کَامَم﮼﮶
پَسِيْ تَهِ پَاهَنَ کٖيْ اَچٖيْ نَہ آَرَامُ﮶
مَتَا ڎُنْکَرُ ڎُوْرِي﮼ اُجہ﮼ ڪُهْ عَوَامُ﮶
هَارِئَا ڪَرِ حَرَامُ کَاءُ تَہ کَاهُوْرِيْ ٿِي﮼﮶

TRANSLITERATION
सिन्धी देवनागिरी

किहड़ो अथिई कामु। गंजे डूं॒गर गाम में।
पसी तंहिं पाहण खे। अचे न आरामु।
मतां डूं॒गरु डो॒रियें। उजहें कुह अवामु।
हरा करि हरामु। खाउ त खाहोड़ी थियें।

ROMAN SINDHI

Kehrro athaee kaam'u, ganje Doongar'a gaam'a me,
Passee tehn paahann'a khe, ache na Aaram,
Mataan Doongar'u Doreen, UJheen kuh awaam'u,
Hara kar Haram'u, kha'u ta khaahorri theen.

  • What is the attraction for you in the sanctum on the (coarse) Ganjo mountain? It is a well known fact that its very sight forfeits the seeker’s tranquility and peace of mind. He becomes much too impatient to visit it. My advice to you, therefore, is to “refrain from going there and exploring the common place mountainous tract. Instead roast yourself by intense yearning in addition to self-denial to qualify yourself as an approved wanderer (or seeker)”.
    But monotheism, which they invented for themselves, We did not prescribe it for them. (27, Al-Hadid).
    ایں ریاضتہای درویشاں چراست
    کہ فنای تن بقای جانہا است

    Why do the pious persons undergo these hardships? They do it because annihilation of body leads to the immortality of soul.
    Note: The word هرا may be interpreted as under: As هرا it may mean “everything’. As it may refer to the cave where the Prophet of Islam had retired and later received the first Quranic revelation. Mr. Kazi has, however, replaced it by هئڻ which means ego. The first interpretation seems to be more appropriate.
    I do not favour monasticism. But I suggest self-annihilation. He who successfully practices it, his one word would work like antidote.

    With Ganjo Takkar, what is your concern? give up all rest, seeing that rocks so stern,
    Search not in the rock, roam not in the world,
    Give up all concerns, burn to becomes an ascetic.

    What concern do you have with the hamlet on the Ganjo?
    Obsering the rock makes one restless,
    Don't search mountains, don't roam about,
    Giving up all comfort bake yourself to became Khhahori.


    أيش تريد من جبل كنجه؟ عند ما تنظره أنت تقلق وتضجر ولاترتاح.
    لا تدور فى الجبال لم تتجول وتتمشى فى العالم؟
    اترك كل شيء واحترق فى لوعة الحب واعتلج فى لواعج الغرام تصير من المشتاقين.
    هنا المشتاقون معناه: الذين يجتهدون فى سبيل اﷲ عزوجل ويكدون ويبغون رضا ربه.


    گنجے پربت گام میں، تیرا ہے کیا کام،
    دیکھ کے اس پربت کو، آئے نہ اب آرام،
    ڈھونڈ نہ دشت و جبل، ڈھونڈ نہ ہر اک گام،
    سب کچھ سمجھ حرام، جل کر بن کھاہوڑی۔
