راڻنِ مُلا راتِ، ماڻِڪُ مي پِرايو.

کُوْءِ سَمِيٌ ٻَنِ سُنْمَرِيٌ جٖيْ اَچَنِ اُنْچٖيْ کَاٽِ﮶
وَرُ سٖيْ ڪِجُرَ ڃَائِيٌ جَنِ تَمَاچِيَ جِيْ تَاتِ﮶
رَانِنِ مُلَا رَاتِ مَانِڪُ مٖيْ پِرَائِيُوْ﮶
ھِي بيت ٻين سھيڙيندڙن وٽ ڏِسو
TRANSLITERATION
सिन्धी देवनागिरी
खोए समियूं ब॒नि सूमरियूं। जे अचनि ओचे गा॒टि।
वरु से कीन्झुर जा॒यूं। जनि तमाचीअ जी ताति।
राणनि मुलां राति। माणिकु मे पिरायो॥
ROMAN SINDHI
Khoo'e samiyoon Ban soomariyoon, je achan ooche ggaatt,
War'u se keenjhur'a Jhhayoon, jan tamachee'a je taat,
Rannan mula raat, mannik'u me piraayo.
TRANSLATIONS
Fie on the Samo and Soomri ladies (i.e. the arrogant infidels) who strut about haughtily. Blessed are those ladies who are born in Kinjhar tract and who humbly remember Tamachi (Allah). In one night the fisherwoman (Noori) won the valuable gem vis-a-vis the queens.
And walk not on the earth haughtily, br you cannot rend the earth, nor can you reach mountains in height. The evil of all these is hateful in the sight of your Lord. - (37, 38, Bani Israel).
Hazrat Ali’s advice: Pride impedes progress and mars greatness.

چہ عظمت دادۂ یا رب بخلق آں عظیم الشان
کہ ایں عبدہ گویا بجائے قولِ سبحان
O Allah! What sublimity you have conferred on this eminent personage! You have treated the statement of this bondman as your own statement.
Fie upon those proud royal ones! haughtily holding heads high,
Blessed are the daughter of Keenjhar who yearn for Tamachi Jam,
Not the queens but fisher maid, won the pearl like prince.
Fie on Samma and Soomra queens who walk about haughtily,
Blessed are the Keenjhar born girls who all the time remember Tamchi,
In one night the fisher girl won the Jam over all.

گرب گمان جو کرے سوانی آخر پچھو تائی
ہو نرمان تماچی لے گئے میحلوں کینجھر جائی
پرکھ لال دی نوری کیتی بے قدراں پچھتاون
سمہ اور سومرہ شہزادیوں کو
عبث ہے اب یہ زعمِ سرفرازی
خوشاکنجھر کی وہ نادار گندری
کہ جس نے جیت لی الفت کی بازی
بھاڑ میں جائیں رانیاں جو، دکھلاتی ہیں شان،
اعلیٰ ہیں وہ مچھیرنیں جن کی تماچی ہیں جان،
موتی رات مہان، جو نوری نے پایا ہے راتوں سے۔
