- سُر ليلا جَي مڻيو چنيسر، ليلا سھاڳڻ جو بيت
ڏُھاڳان سُھاڳَڻِيُون، ڪِھَڙي ڏوھِ ڪَنبَنِ،
وَرُ وِڏُوڻو اِيَھِين، جِيئَن جِيئَن پاڻُ پَسَنِ.

TRANSLITERATION
सिन्धी देवनागिरी
डु॒हागां॒ सुहाग॒णियूं। किहड़े डो॒ह कंबनि।
वरु विडू॒णो इयहीं। जीअं जीअं पाणु पसनि।
ROMAN SINDHI
Duhaaggan suhaagginnyoon, kehrre Doh'a kanban,
War'u waDoonno eeyheen, jeean jeean paann'u passan.
TRANSLATIONS
What is that sin, the dread of favourite wives in whose wake comes their rejection? It is the self confidence, the self-interest on their part, which alienates to them the affection of their consort (who is very sensitive in that respect).

Verily Allah does not like a proud glorious person.(18, Luqman).
The most dreadful blunder of married women,
It is their ego for it estranges the consort.
سہاگن کنبے کیہڑے پاپوں متاں ڈوہاگن ہووے
کنت نا بھاوے کوڑ دکھاوا بہہ کرماں نو رووے
بیوہ ہونے کا ڈر کیسا، کیسا خوف سہاگن،
ان سے روٹھے ساجن، جو خودداری دکھلائیں۔
