ڏَمَرِئو تَہ ڏي، پَرَچِئو تَہ پاٽَ ڀَري،
جُنگَ جَکِري کي، ٻَئِي چَڱِيُون چِتَ ۾.
سمجهاڻي
جکرو جيڪڏهن ڪاوڙجي ٿو تہ بہ ڏئي ٿو، پر جڏهن راضي ٿئي ٿو تہ سڀني سوالين ۽ صدا هڻندڙن کي ڀري ڇڏي ٿو. هن وڏي مان ۽ مرتبي واري سخي مرد جي دل ۾ هر حال ۾ چڱائي ۽ نيڪي آهي.

ڎَمَرِئُوْ تَڎٖيْ پَرَچِئُوْ تَپَاٽَ ڀَرٖيْ﮶
جُنکَّہ جَکَرٖيْ کٖيْ ٻَئِيْ چَنکِّيٌ چِتَم﮼﮶
ھِي بيت ٻين سھيڙيندڙن وٽ ڏِسو
TRANSLITERATION
सिन्धी देवनागिरी
ड॒मरिओ त डे॒। परचिओ त पाट भरे।
जुंग जखरे खे। ब॒ई चङियूं चित में।
ROMAN SINDHI
Damriyo ta De, parachiyo ta paatt'a bhare,
Jung'a jakhre khe, Baee changyoon chit'a me.
TRANSLATIONS
(old) This veteran Jakhro has wonderful traits). He is very good at both ends. Even when he is annoyed, he gives (i.e. he blesses as he did in Taif, where he was very much harassed even injured by the local non-Muslims). And to those supplicants with whom he is pleased (i.e. with his companions in particular and with those who serve him well), he is remarkably generous.
He (i.e. the Prophet) is ardently desirous of your welfare; and to the believers he is compassionate, merciful . (127, AI-Touba)
Even when annoyed he gives, when pleased fills begging bowl,
In both cases benign Jakhro has only good will in mind.
جے کسے نال غصے بخشش تاں وی اس تے رکھدا
جے کر کدھرے پرچے تاں فیر توڑ تونگر کردا
ہر حال وچ ہوندا جکھرا، مہراں بھریا کیہہ دسِیے
اس کے جود و سخا کا کیا کہنا
وہ دل خوش خصال رکھتا ہے
اور غضبناک ہو کے بھی اکثر
دشمنوں کا خیال رکھتا ہے
روٹھے جب تو دے، من جائے تو دامن بھردے،
اس کا عجب چلن ہے، کہ دیتا ہے ہر حال میں۔
