- سُر رامڪلي جَي سڳا سيلهيين ۽ نااميدي جو بيت
ڏورَڻُ گهَڻو ڏاکَڙو، ڏورِ مَ ڏِييان ڌارَ،
ڪوڙيِين لَکَ ھَزارَ، اِنَ اُونداھِيءَ اَنڌا ڪِئا.

ڎُوْرَنو کَنٌ ڎَاکَرُوْ ڎُوْرِ مَڎِيَان ڌَارَ﮶
ڪُوْرٍ لَـکَہ هَزَارَ اِنَ اُنْڌَاهِيَ اَنڌَّا ڪِئَا﮶
ھِي بيت ٻين سھيڙيندڙن وٽ ڏِسو
TRANSLITERATION
सिन्धी देवनागिरी
डो॒रणु घणे डा॒खड़ो। डो॒रि म डी॒यां धार।
कोड़ियें लख हज़ार। इन ऊंदाहीअ अंधा किआ।
ROMAN SINDHI
Do'ran Gha'nu daakh'ro, Door me, deiy'an dha'r,
Ko'rein lakh'a hazaar, ann a'ondha'ey andha kee'a.
TRANSLATIONS
Do not embark on the search without a light. To undertake the search is, indeed, a hard nut to crack. Millions of persons became blind and lost their way due to ignorance (i.e. due to lack of guidance).
And (O Prophet!) We have sent you as a lamp that gives bright light
(46, Al-Ahzab).
ہرکہ او بی مرشدی در راه شد
او زغولان گمره و در چاه شد
(Roomi)
Whoever undertakes the journey without a guide, he shall fall in the Satan’s lap enroute to the well (of misguidance).
Seek not without the light for it is a difficult task,
Millions have been misled and in ignorance's darkness lost.
What you thought to be a lamp, is sun's bright light,
Night's turning into day, makes no difference to the blind.
هذا أمر صعب واحد يفتش مرشده بدون مصباح.
هذا الظلام أعمى آلاف من الناس.
جس نے لاکھوں کو کردیا اندھا
اس اندھیرے سے کچھ فراغ نہیں
جستجو کس طرح کرے گا تو
پاس جب تک کوئی چراغ نہیں
دیپ بِنا مت ڈھونڈ اے جوگی، ڈھونڈنا ہے دشوار،
جوگی لاکھ ہزار، اندھیارے میں بھٹک گئے ہیں۔
