- سُر کاھوڙي جَي گنجي ٽڪر، پکيان پير جو بيت
ڏُونگَرين ڏِسجَن، اَڳي رَيُون اُنِ جُون،
ڏوٿيَڙا ڏُٿَ کي، آراڙِ اَچَنِ،
خِيما کاھوڙِيَنِ، اَڄُ نَہ اُنِهين ڀيڻِيين.
سمجهاڻي
اَڄ سوڌو (ايڏي وقت گذرڻ جي باوجود) جبلن ۾ انهن کاهوڙين جون ڇڏيل وٿون نظر پيون اچن (جيئن جو تيئن سلامت آهن). جيتوڻيڪ کاهوڙي اتي (گذريل) گرميءَ جي مند ۾ ڏُٿ چونڊڻ لاءِ آيا هئا، پر هاڻي انهن جاين تان کاهوڙين جا عارضي اَجها ڏسڻ ۾ ڪونہ ٿا اچن.

ڎُنْکَر﮼ ڎِسِجَنِ اَکٖيْ رَيٌ اُنِجِيٌ﮶
ڎُوْٿِيَرَا ڎُٿَکٖيْ آَرَارِ اَچَنِ﮶
کِيْمَا کَاهُوْرِيَنِ اَڃُ نَہ اُن﮼ ڀٖيْرِي﮼﮶

TRANSLITERATION
सिन्धी देवनागिरी
डूं॒गरें डि॒स्जन। अगे॒ रयूं उनि जूं।
डो॒थियड़ा डु॒थ खे। आराड़ि अचनि।
ख़ीमा खाहोड़ियनि। अजु॒ न उनिहीं भेणियें।
ROMAN SINDHI
Doongaren Disjan, agge rayoon un joon,
Dothee'arra Duth khe, Aararr achan,
Khema khahoorriyan, aJhh'u na unheen bhennen.
TRANSLATIONS
Today too the dust raised by the tramps’ party is visible among the mountains. (Generally they go for collecting the wild fruit i.e. Divine knowledge, during very hot summer) and they would not return without it. But their tents are no more visible at the last site. (Since they do not encamp for more than a night at a particular place, they have obviously shifted their camp) or (the nomads have become scarce these days).
Their caravan's raised dust in the mountains, even today one sees,
Attracted by mountain grain, others come to seek,
Wandering ascetics and their tents, they do not find.
Today too dust raises in mountains by caravans,
Dothis are coming from jungle for Duth,
The Khhahoris, tents are no more at the same site.
فى الجبال اليوم أيضا يرى الغبار الساطع المشتاقون المكدون لحبوب غلال يجرون ويهرولون إلى الثمار البرية اليوم لاتوجد فى هذه الأماكن خيم المشتاقين.

روح میں ارتعاش کرتے ہیں
کوہساروں پہ خیمہ زن ہو کر
ڈوتھی ڈتھ کی تلاش کرتے ہیں
اُڑی ہے دشت میں دھول، پڑے ہیں انکے قدم جہاں،
چلے ہیں ڈوتھی ثمر کی خاطر، پربت کو ہیں رواں،
جانے گئے ہیں کہاں، ویراں اِن کے ٹھکانے ہیں۔
