TRANSLITERATION
सिन्धी देवनागिरी
डि॒नू कीन डि॒याच। थो साइलु सिकाए।
मुंहं ते मोटाए। मथो हंयुसि मङणी।
ROMAN SINDHI
Dino keen'a Diyach, tho sayl'u sikae,
Munh te mottaye, matho hanyas manganne.
TRANSLATIONS
In fact Diach had given nothing. He had merely tantalized the supplicant. Feeling so, the bard returned to the site and replaced Diach's head on his dead trunk.
Note: Allah does not accept a sacrifice if it is given hesitantly or niggardly.
O you who believe! Render not your alms vain by taunt and injury.
(265, Al-Baqarah).
Dyach did not gave, he only tantalized the supplicants,
The bard realizing this come and gave him back his head.
رکھ دے مُل دا سر دے راجے چارن توں ترسایا
دتی خیر سخی نے جیہڑی مڑ کے موڑن آیا
اصلی دان دیا نہ اس نے، مجھ کو ترسایا،
واپس سر لایا، آن رکھا قدموں پر۔
