- سُر ڪيڏارو جَي ڏٺو محرم ماھ جو بيت
ڏِٺو مُحَرَمُ ماهُ، سَنڪو شَھزادَنِ ٿِئو،
مَڪي مَدِيني ماڻُهين، رُنو مَٿي راھَ،
تَنھِن واحِدَ کي واھَ، جو حُڪُمَ ھِھَڙائِي ڪَري.

پِھْرٍ مُحَرَّمَ مَاہَ مِيْرَ مَدِيْنِئَا نِکِئَا﮶
مَڪٖيْ مَدٖيْنِيْ مَارُوْءٍ رُنُوْ مَٿٖيْ رَاہَ﮶
تَهِ وَاحِدَ کٖيْ وَاہُ جُوْ حُڪْمَ هِھَرَائِيْ ڪَرٖيْ﮶
ھِي بيت ٻين سھيڙيندڙن وٽ ڏِسو
TRANSLITERATION
सिन्धी देवनागिरी
डि॒ठो मुहरमु माहु। सन्को शह्ज़ादनि थिओ।
मके मदीने माणुहें। रुनो मथे राह।
तिंहिं वाहिद खे वाह। जो हुक्म हिहड़ाई करे।
ROMAN SINDHI
Ditho Muharam maah, sanko Shehzadan thio,
Makke Madine manhein,runo maThey raah,
Tehan wahid khey waah, jo Hukum hahrraey karey.
TRANSLATIONS
The moon introducing the month of Muharram has been sighted. With it have swarmed the woeful memories of the princes. The people of Mecca and Madina lament the tragedy publicly on the highway. Verily all praise is due to Allah, who issues such (awful) orders.
ای مومنان ہلال محرم پدید شد
وقت عزای حضرت شاہ شہید شد

O believers! The Muharram moon has been sighted. The time for lamentation of the royal martyr has come.
Muharram moon is sighted, grieving of the princes resurges,
The people of Makkah and Madina wept on the highways,
Praise be to the One and only, who issues such orders.
آلِ علی تے ماہِ محرم دسے دُکھ لیاوندا
مکے اتے مدینے تائیں راہیں کھڑے رُواندا
جو بھوندا اوہ کردا سائیں پیش نا کوئی جاندی
جاگا شہزادوں کا درد، آیا ماہ محرم،
مکہ، شہر مدینہ رویا، ہر اک راہ ہے پرنم،
بے پرواہ احکم، جو ایسے حکم چلائے۔
