ڀٽائي پيڊيا جو واٽس ائپ چئنل فالو ڪريو

جَهرَڪِيُون ۾ جِيلانَ، ڪِيائُون مِيران جو مُجِرو،
جِتي غَوثُ بَھاؤالدِينُ، اُتِ مَرَڪِيُون ۾ مُلتانَ،
اَچِي اُچَ اُکَتِيُون، ڪِيائُون پُرِ پُراڻِ،
وِڄَڙِيُنِ مُنھَن ڪاڻِ، لاٿِي سِنڌُ وَڻَنِ کي.

The lightning, in its journey, reached the province of "Gilan" in Iran and paid homage to "Hazrat Miran Shah", flashing brightly in reverence** It then proceeded to "Multan", where the burial site of "Ghous Bahauddin Zakariya" is located, and illuminated the area with its joyful flashes** Continuing its path, it reached the province of "Khorasan" in "Iran", lighting up the sky with its brilliance** Finally, it arrived in the beloved land of "Sindh", where it unleashed a relentless downpour, bringing immense happiness to the people**

جَرَڪِيٌ م﮼ جِيْـلَانَ ڪِئَاءٍ مِيْرَان جُوْ مُجْرُوْ﮶

सिन्धी देवनागिरी

झरकियूं में जीलान। कियाऊं मीरां जो मुजिरो।
जिते ग़ोसु बहाऊदीनि। उति मरकियूं में मुल्तान।
अचे अजु॒ उखतियूं। कियाऊं पुरि पुराणि।
विज॒ड़ियुनि मुंहं काण लाथी सिंधु वणनि खे।

Jhirkyoon me jelaan, kayanwon meeran jo mujhro,
Jithey Gose bahawaldin, utt murkyon me multaan,
achee ach ikhtyon,kayawon par paran,
wajhren muhan kaan, laai sundh wanran khey.

  • The lightning flashed at Jilan (in Iraq) and paid homage to Hazrat Miran Shah there. Then it went to Multan where Ghous Bahauddin lies buried and flashed merrily there. It went to Khurasan and flashed there and then came to Sindh where it rained without restraint and caused happiness.
    Note: In the above verse the poet has referred to two important Muslim Sufi saints. I think it is worthwhile giving below a brief note about each of them.
    i) Hazrat Miran Shah alias Shah Mohiuddin alias Shah Abdul Kadir Jilani:
    He was a Sayed descended from Hazrat Imam Hassan through his father and from Hazrat lmam Hussain through his mother. He was born in Jilan near Baghdad in 470 A.H. He died in 561 A.H. His mausoleum is in Baghdad. He is reputed to be one of the greatest saint in Islam. Many miracles are attributed to him.
    بمقامی کہ رسیدی نرسد، ہیچ ولی
    (You reached the stage which no other saint had reached).
    ii) Hazrat Ghous Bahauddin Zakariya.
    His paternal and maternal grand fathers had migrated from Mecca to Multan. He was born in. 1182 A.D. He was a disciple of Hazrat Shahabuddin Suhurwardi. He was founder of the Suhurwardi School of thought in India. He went to Madina and stayed there for 5 years. Many nonbelievers of the Punjab and Sindh were converted to Islam under the influence of his guidance. Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar of Sindh was his disciple. He died in 771 A.H. His mausoleum is in Multan.
    Pride of the muslim community and precious asset of faith! His holy self was fountain of truth and belief

      ھِن سُر جي راڳ بابت

    سارنگ راڳ جو جنم سنڌ جي قديمي ٺاٺ ڪافي مان ٿئي ٿو. ھي راڳ اوڍو ۽ کاڍو يعني پنجن ۽ ڇھن سرن جي روپ ۾ سرگم تي ٻڌل آهي. ھن راڳ ۾ گنڌار (گا) جو سر ناھي لڳائبو. ھن راڳ جو وادي سر رکب (ري) ۽ سم وادي سر پنچم (پا) آھي. سارنگ راڳ ۾ ڌيوت جو سر خلاصو ڪري استعمال ۾ آڻبو آهي. دکن جي گرنٿن ۾ ھن راڳ ۾ تيور گنڌار ۽ تيور مڌم جو استعمال ڏيکاريو آھي، پر ھي قانون ھند جي ڪنھن سنگيت يا قانون ۾ لاڳو ناھي. سنگيت پاريجات ۾ شڌ سارنگ ۾ ٻئي مڌم يعني (ما) ۽ (مي) ۽ ٻئي نکاد يعني (ني) ۽ (نا) پڻ راڳي لڳائيندا آھن. ھي مت بہ رواجن شڌ سارنگ جي استعمال ۽ راڳ جي شڪل ٺاھڻ کان غير رواجي ثابت ٿيندي .صحيح شڌ سارنگ جي شڪل ھندستان جي سنگيتڪار چتر پنڊت پنھنجي سنگيت ۾ ھن ريت ڏني آهي:

    آروھي: سا، ري، ما، پا، ني، سا

    آمروھي: سا،ڌا، ني، پا، ما، ري، سا
