The carefree desert-dwellers always have some surplus** They gather a branch full of "Daura" (kind of local vegitable) and use it as food** Those intimately connected with the bushes and trees are never physically weak** Their close relationship with the land and its resources keeps them strong and resilient**

सिन्धी देवनागिरी

तनि वंहियनि वेड़िहीचनि में। सदाईं सुकारु।
चूंडिओ आणे चाढ़ियूं। संदो ड॒ऊंरनि डा॒रु।
जनि जो वेढ़ियुनि सें वापारु। से डो॒थी हूनि न डु॒बि॒र॥

choonDi'o aannay chaarrihyoo'n, sando ddaunran'ay ddaar'u,

  • There is always some surplus with these happy-go-lucky desert-dwellers. They pick and bring a branch full of 'Baura' and use it as food. Those who are so intimately connected with bushes and trees are never physically weak.

    Always abundance find with these contended folks,
    "We select and bring full of wild berries many a branch,"
    Those who frequent thick forests forests, are never in need.

    My happy herdsmen are always plentiful,
    They pick and bring branch of Daunro,* cook its grain,
    Those who rely on woods are never lean.


    أصحابي فى الصحراء يعيشون بالفرح ودائما عندهم أرزاق متوفرة.
    نحن نقطع أغضان شجر عليق ونجني منه ثمرة ونطبخه أهالي البر والصحراء الذين يعيشون فى الفلاة لايصيرون فقراء أبدا.


    سُکھی وسن ویہڑے خوشحالی پاون دلی مراداں
    اسیں رنھیئے مارو ڈیلے کھا لئے نال سواداں
    واہ جہناں دا جنگلی رہندا کدی محتاج نا ہُندے


    سدا سے ہیں وہ سکھ سے سائیں، سدا سے ہیں خوشحال،
    توڑ توڑ کر لے آتے ہیں، وہ "ڈنوروں" کی ڈال،
    جنگل جن کا مال، سدا رہیں خوشحال۔
