TRANSLITERATION
सिन्धी देवनागिरी
कुसरि कंगनि क़बरूं। सुसरु साङाहेजि।
हन्ज हुते जी गा॒लहड़ी। ब॒घनि सें म बो॒लेजि।
माड़े तूं मरेजि। चइजि म कंहीं चुंज सें॥
ROMAN SINDHI
Kusar'a kangan Qabaroon, susar'u sangaahej,
Hanj'a hute jee ggaalhrri, Baghan seen ma Bolej,
Maarree toon marej, chaej ma kanheen chunj'a seen.
TRANSLATIONS
You should live a chaste life (and in good company). It is for the herons to lead a bad life and have an ignoble burial. O Goose! Whatever is Divinely communicated to you, it should not be disclosed to the herons (or ordinary persons). When you return after your union (with the Beloved), do not disclose the secret to a short sighted person (i.e. disbeliever) (as he will not appreciate it).
Note: Abu Jahal had persistantly refused to believe in the ascention of the Prophet.
There are herons graves in the unclean fount, go seek the clean fount,
Tell not to herons what you hear here o swan,
What you return the union, do not tell it to any short sighted.
گندے چشمیں بگلی قبراں، صاف دے سنگ رکھ نینہہ
ایتھے دی کوئی گل سارسا، بگلیاں نہ آکھیں
وصلاں توں مانیں، کسے نہ کور نظر نوں دس
یہ تو بگلوں کا مرگھٹ ہے، اُجلے تال کو جا،
اُجلے تال کا بھید کبھی مت، بگلوں کو بتلا،
پا کر لوٹ کے آ، بات نہ کر کسی سے۔
