The camels and their trappings were adorned with extravagant silken tassels and strings of diamonds worth millions of rupees** They rode with such speed that they brushed against the trees, dislodging leaves that seemed to cling to "Punnhun"** "By the way, have you come across such travelers?" "Sassui" asked the fellow foot-travelers** "Yes," they replied, "but they passed by yesterday, while you, O mother, are inquiring about them today**" (You are quite late in pursuing them**)

  • The camels and their tapestry were lavishly decorated with silken tassels and strings of diamonds worth millions of rupees. They rode so swiftly as to disengage, by contact, some leaves from the way-wide trees, which seem to have got stuck to Punhoo. "By the way did you accost any such travellers?" (She enquired of the fellow foot-travellers). "Yes" they replied "But they passed-by yesterday, whereas you o mother! enquire from us today". (You are very Late in their pursuit).

On their covers were trapping with thousand diamonds,
On their way, Punhoon's frame was touched by leaves and branches,
Did you see passing by such noble swains?"
"Such riders did go yesterday, you look for them today oh maid"

The camel-back covers are decorated with silk tassels,
    And diamonds wroth millions,
Foliage on the wayside touched Punhoon,
Did you see any such camel men passing by?
"Their caravan went by yesterday and,
You are looking for them today."
