ھوتُ نيڻان جو دِلِبَندُ، ڀَلو جانِي،
ھيڏَانھَن ھوڏانھَن سُپِرِين، ڪاڏي وَرايان ڪَنڌُ،
چَڙِهي ڏاڍِين ڏُونگَرين، راھَ پُڇايان رَندُ،
سَيِّدُ سَڀَنِئا سُهِڻُو، سائِينءَ جو سوڳَندُ.

هُوْتُ نٖيْنَانجُوْ دِلْبَندُّ ڀَلُوْ جَانِيْ﮶
هٖيْڎَہْ هُوْڎَا سُپِرٍ ڪَاڎٖيْ وَرَايَان ڪَنڌُ﮶
چَرِيْ ڎَاڊ﮼ ڎُنکَر﮼ رَاہَ پُڇَايَان رَندُّ﮶
سَيِّدُ سَڀَنِئَا سُھِنٌ سَائِيَ جُوْ سُوْکَندُّ﮶
ھِي وائي ٻين سھيڙيندڙن وٽ ڏِسو
TRANSLITERATION
सिन्धी देवनागिरी
होतु नैणां जो दिल्बंदु। भलो जानी।
हेडं॒हं होडां॒हं सुपिरीं। काडे॒ वरायां कंधु।
चड़िही डा॒ढें डूं॒गरें। राह पुछायां रंदु।
सयदु सभनिआं सुहिणो। साईंअ जो सोगं॒दु।
ROMAN SINDHI
hot'u nennaa'n jo diliband'u, bhalo jaani,
heddaanh'a hoddaanh'a supireen, kaadday waariyaa'n kandh'u,
charrihay ddaadhheen ddoongareen, raah'a puchhaayaa'n rand'u,
Sayyad'u sabhani'aa suhinnoo, saaeen'a jo soggand'u.
TRANSLATIONS
O Friends! My Beloved (i.e. Allah) is the idol of my eyes. Bravo, O friend! He is Immanant in the universe. I hardly need turn my head in any particular direction to have a view of Him.
صد جلوہ روبرو ہے جو مژگاں اٹھایئے
You will see His hundred manifestation if you raise your eye brows.
But I climb on different summits of mountains to locate the road leading to Him.
“O Sisters! says Abdul Latif “Allah, the Independent, shall join me with the Beloved”
Beloved is darling of my eyes, dear mates,
He is here, is there, where I turn my head,
Climbing mountain I find his path,
I solemnly say, o mates, my beloved is most
beautiful among all,
Abdul Lateef says, mates Allah the Independent shall
join me with the beloved.
رگ رگ میں بسا وہ پیارا ہے
وہ پیارا سب سے نیارا ہے
وہ پیارا آنکھ کا تارا ہے
میں پربت پر چڑھ جائوں گی
اور اس کو ڈھونڈ کے لائوں گی
اب سارے جگ میں اے سکھیو!
بس وہ ہی ایک سہارا ہے
وہ پیارا آنکھ کا تارا ہے
ہوت وہ نینوں کا دلبند، الو میاں!
ہر جا اپنا پریتم دیکھوں، وہ ہی گل وہی قند،
راہ تکوں ساجن کی ہر دم، مشکل ہے ہر چند،
پریتم میرا سب سے سندر، سائیں کی سوگند،
سکھیو! شاہ لطیف کہے ہے، ملے گا وہ دلبند۔
